Hospice is not a place. It's a philosophy of care.

Hospice is a form of medical care that is tailored to the wishes of the patient based on what is important to them.  While not curative, it’s designed to help patients live as well as they can for as long as they have left.  Patients often live with better quality of life and for longer when under hospice care.
