Bereavement Support Services
Grief is a process, and it’s one that is unique to each individual. It can affect an individual emotionally, physically, and spiritually at any time during the grieving journey and may manifest in diverse ways including anger.
Hospice of New Mexico considers it our mission to offer support during your grief journey.
Grief is something that occurs over months and is not a single event. The process of grieving is unique for each individual. It can occur over an extended period or can surface off and on at unexpected times. When a loved one is lost, it is common to experience a period of bereavement (mourning) after a loss, especially after the death of a loved one. During this time, a wide range of emotions can be felt, which is normal during challenging times in life. The source of grief is often different among individuals, but the substance (how we feel) of grief can be very similar.
Hospice of New Mexico is committed to supporting you during this journey of grief and loss. Our services are designed to help the unique needs of those who have lost a loved one. This website contains inspirational resources as well as practical information to assist you during this difficult time.
